I'm Nacho and I'm a
Hello! I am a Computer Science Engineer and Data Scientist from a little town in Ávila (Spain), but currently based in Madrid. I have worked in a wide range of domains such as cloud services, machine learning, medical devices, navigation or telecommunications.
Why did I choose to study computer science? Because I love to design, build and develop anything that can help people to improve their lives!
I love to practise sport (specially football, surf, padel or cycling), travel or spend time with my family and friends during my free time. Animals are also one of my weaknesses!

Software Engineer
TomTom Architected, implemented, and published a new entry point and comprehensive public documentation for the TomTom Navigation SDK for Android, significantly reducing integration time, code complexity, and developer effort for enterprise customers. Designed, implemented, and validated agentic workflows that automatically implement and build apps from scratch using the SDK to test documentation completeness and accelerate bug detection across both preview and released versions. Designed and automated CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, maintenance, and continuous publishing of the SDK, drastically reducing manual maintenance overhead. Built and maintain the official open-source TomTom Example App using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to demonstrate industry best practices for SDK integration.

Solution Architect - Entitlement Servers
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Led a team of engineers in delivering a high-impact project for a major telecommunications company. Creation of a common, extensible and reusable testing library for all entitlement servers projects. This reusable collection of tests simulated any phone functionality (iPhone or Android), reducing the testing phase duration by 80% and significantly minimizing customer dependence during this phase. The library is based on the Custom Testing Tool created during the Technology Consultant position. Development a comprehensive monitoring system that provides a simplified, real-time overview of the entire platform's status, enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring seamless performance. This tool is based in Python (mainly Pandas and PyPlot) along with Bash scripts and SMTP servers.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Design, creation and delivery of software solutions for telecommunications companies. Creation of an automated, multi-platform, reusable and extensible testing tool allowing to reduce the time required to verify if the functionality is the expected from days or weeks up to a few minutes. This utility is based in python.

Software Engineer & Data Scientist
Plenoptika Europe Globally, there is a critical need for technology tools that increase accessibility to vision care to address the most common cause of visual disability: uncorrected refractive errors. Due to a global shortage of eye care professionals, it is often difficult, particularly in underdeveloped areas, to obtain accurate eyeglass prescriptions that correct refractive errors effectively and achieve to restore vision. This project consisted on the development of a machine learning engine based on Python and AWS with the potential to address this global problem, simplifying and accelerating the process for eyeglass prescription.

MEDIC - UAM Developed a calibration system for a visual simulation device(SimVis) using C++ and Qt. The project includes both software (bluetooth, image processing and low-level camera control modules) and hardware (design of different parts of the system, build the calibration cradle, etc.).
